I started out with a Kodak wind-up camera. You know, the kind you have to develop at Walmart after 25 shots? I was really fancy. But I had fun! I took pictures of my family, our cross-country road trips, pretty flowers and Christmas lights... you name it, I probably have a blurry picture of it from my childhood.

I got my first DSLR—a Canon Rebel T5i—when I was 18 years old, and I LOVED it. I took some classes, got some experience under my belt shooting events on a team and practicing my posing skills. I shot my first engagements and weddings with that camera, and I still sometimes use it as a back-up!

Today, I shoot a Canon 6D Mkii and use a variety of professional L-series Canon lenses. If only baby Kimberly with her Kodak wind-up could see me now. :)

In my free time, I love to travel and read good books and eat ice cream and watch sunsets and spend time with friends and build snowmen and listen to indie albums. I love my beautiful life, and I would love to capture the beauty of your life, too!
